Leadership in Teaching and Training

  • Guided one Ph D and 17 students for the Master’s Degree Programme in sugarcane crops. Courses Designed:Sc., Sugarcane Production Technology under open and distance learning (ODL) mode.
  • Organised one-day training programme on “High Throughput Sampling Using Optical Properties (Understanding and Application)” dt. 17.02.2023 at ICAR-SBI, Coimbatore, with 46 trainees.
  • Organised a 5-day workshop on ‘Physiological and molecular markers for Abiotic stress tolerance in plants’ from October 31st to 04th November 2022, at the Department of Botany, University of Calicut, Kerala.
  • Recognised as a supervisor for guiding research scholars for a Ph.D. /M. Tech programme in the faculty of Science and Humanities, Bharathiyar University and Anna University.

Contribution to Revenue generation:

  • Instrumental in producing a total of 9200 Kg
    of Powder Jaggery, which was commercialised as (Iniya Powdered Jaggery produced and generated revenue of >Rs. 7,69 975/).
  • As Co-developer of the SVRC/CVRC released varieties, the sum of
    5,96,584/revenue was generated through Breeder Seed Production.
